Are you looking for a responsible and challenging role within a dynamic international environment? As Pool Manager, you work closely with fellow Pool Managers and operational teams to ensure our vessels are staffed with the right people at the right time. With your leadership and people focused approach, you contribute directly to the continuity and success of our global operations.

THE POSITION

As Pool Manager, you contribute to the effective and efficient manning of Van Oord’s fleet together with the other Pool Managers. You ensure the right people are available at the right time to support our global operations safely and successfully.

Together with your team and operational stakeholders, you ensure the organisation has the right balance of talent, knowledge and experience to support our projects worldwide. You work closely with Vessel Management and other internal stakeholders to continuously improve crew availability, operational readiness and overall crew performance.

In addition, you contribute to the long term development of the workforce by identifying training and development needs based on operational data, workforce planning and feedback from Project and Vessel Management. You proactively initiate the required training and development programmes with a forward looking focus on future operational needs.

With your helicopter view and strong organisational skills, you maintain oversight in a fast paced and dynamic environment while effectively managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
