Paans Van Oord delivers tailor-made solutions for soil protection and bank structures to prevent erosion caused by waves and currents. We specialise in the precise installation of fascine mats, collars and rock armour, even at water depths of up to 30 metres. Whether it’s emergency repairs, tunnel coverage or long-term shoreline protection using sheet piles, filter layers or traditional masonry: we always choose the most suitable approach. With years of experience, we create stable, safe and environmentally friendly banks along rivers, lakes and canals.

Both dry and wet infrastructure require regular maintenance. Waterways and harbours must be kept at the correct depth, mooring structures need repairs after collisions, and reed banks must be mowed. Paans Van Oord has many years of experience in carrying out a wide range of maintenance activities.

Paans Van Oord has its own in-house survey department, including two dedicated survey vessels that can be flexibly deployed across our projects. In addition, we operate survey drones, a mobile 3D scanner and a fully autonomous unmanned survey vessel. Depending on the survey requirements, we equip our vessels with multibeam or singlebeam echo sounders, ping sonar or sidescan sonar. All our survey equipment is fitted with the latest high-precision positioning systems.
