HR Services Officer

We are seeking a service-oriented colleague to join our HR Services department in the role of HR services employee. You will support our employees, business and HR colleagues.

THE POSITION

As an HR Services Officer, you play a key role in delivering reliable, accurate, and people-focused HR services throughout the employee lifecycle. Compliance is central to your role. You ensure HR lifecycle transactions meet local laws, regulations, and Van Oord policies, and you maintain accurate personnel administration by collecting, updating, and managing employee data in Workday (our HRIS system), as well as related files, and archives. You stay up to date on relevant legislation and HR developments and actively contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing HR processes, templates, and procedures.

YOUR IMPACT

You are part of Van Oord’s HR Services department and work closely with employees, managers, HR Business Partners, Centers of Expertise, and other internal stakeholders. You support a broad range of HR activities, from hiring and onboarding to benefits administration, promotions, transfers, and termination.
