THE POSITION

As a Recruiter at Van Oord, you play an important role in helping our business grow. You work closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues to attract people who want to make a difference in projects around the world. You take ownership of the full recruitment process, from the first conversation to the signed contract, while creating a positive experience for every candidate. With your knowledge of the labour market, data and recruitment trends, you help teams make the right hiring decisions. Every great project starts with the right people. As a Recruiter, you make sure Van Oord attracts the talent we need to deliver ambitious projects around the world. You combine market insights, strong partnerships and a personal approach to find the best match for every role. By improving recruitment processes and creating an excellent candidate experience, you help our teams grow stronger every day. In this role, you will:

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR colleagues to develop recruitment strategies that match business needs.
  • Lead the full recruitment process, from intake and sourcing to interviews, offer management and hiring.
  • Build and engage talent pipelines through LinkedIn, referrals, talent pools and your professional network.
  • Use labor market insights, recruitment data and tools such as Avature to improve hiring decisions and optimize recruitment processes.
  • Work closely with Employer Branding, Global Mobility and HR to strengthen our employer brand and deliver an outstanding candidate experience.

ABOUT YOU

You enjoy connecting people, building relationships and creating the best possible candidate experience. You are curious, organised and confident in working with different stakeholders. You easily switch between strategic conversations and day to day recruitment activities, while keeping quality and results in focus. You enjoy using data and market insights to improve your approach and are always looking for better ways of working. To be successful in this role, you bring:

  • A bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience in recruitment, eitherin houseor within an agency.
  • Experience managing the full recruitment cycle and partnering with hiring managers.
  • Strong sourcing skills and experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, talentpoolsand other recruitment channels.
  • Experience working with recruitment systems, preferably Avature, and using data to support hiring decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch is an advantage.
