As a Second Officer on our Water Injection Dredgers, you play a key role in keeping vessel and dredging operations safe, efficient and on track. You support the Captain and Chief Officer with navigation, positioning and bridge watchkeeping while actively contributing to the execution of dredging activities. Working in a highly automated environment, you combine nautical expertise with a practical mindset and collaborate closely with colleagues on deck and on the bridge. Together, you help deliver reliable results on every project.
You play an active role in the safe and efficient operation of both the vessel and the dredging process. As part of a small crew, you take responsibility across a range of activities and work closely with your colleagues to keep operations running smoothly. YOUR WORKPLACE
You work on board one of our highly automated water injection vessels. You are part of a small team of 5 to 7 crew members and work in 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off rotation. The environment is dynamic and international, focused on technical excellence. You operate and optimise modern computer controlled dredging systems and advanced automation technology. Every day offers learning opportunities and the chance to further develop advanced maritime technology.
You are a maritime professional who takes ownership and enjoys working in a dynamic operational environment.
