Finance & Control Administrator

THE POSITION

In this position, you will perform important accounting tasks independently and in coordination with the team. You will report to the Regional Finance Manager.


YOUR IMPACT

  • Working in an international environment, in particular working closely with our parent company in the Netherlands.
  • As a team of 4 employees, we handle all accounting tasks (accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and general ledger accounts) for our two German companies in Hamburg.
  • Supporting the billing of employees and their costs to our sister companies within the group.
  • Collaborating with the Shared Service Centre in Rotterdam, which posts outgoing invoices for us and carries out intercompany payment runs and reconciliations.
  • Processing national and international payment transactions.
  • Independently preparing quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Acting as the contact person for project controllers' accounting questions
  • Preparing VAT returns

ABOUT YOU

  • Successfully completed commercial training or a comparable qualification, ideally as an accountant (m/f/d)
  • Very careful, reliable and conscientious approach to work, initiative and ability to manage yourself
  • Communication and social skills, ability to work in a team
  • Confident use of MS Office and very good Excel skills
  • Good written and spoken English
