As Second Engineer on our Water Injection Dredgers you are the technical expert on board. You ensure that the dredging and propulsion systems run smoothly and reliably. As the only engineer on board you carry full technical responsibility. You work independently, with support from our technical specialists on shore when needed.
You keep our automated systems sharp, carry out maintenance and contribute ideas for smart improvements. This way you directly support the performance of our water injection dredgers and help Van Oord set the standard in innovative dredging worldwide.
On board your focus is on safety, technology and teamwork. You take on technical challenges, keep systems in top condition and ensure clear documentation and reporting. Thanks to your expertise our vessels continue to perform reliably, wherever they operate.
