Officer Expat Desk

THE POSITION

As an Officer Expat Desk, you are (jointly) responsible for carrying out and administering all the activities required for the proper deployment of Van Oord staff members to our (international) projects. Together with the team, you are the point of contact for our staff member abroad. 


YOUR IMPACT 


  • Starting up and closing broadcasts
  • Supervising the correct application of the deployment conditions (including checking time registration)
  • Granting/checking/adjusting the correct allowances
  • Preparing contracts for deployments
  • Maintaining leave entitlements and supplying information to the payroll department and payroll administration 
  • Administrative processing and recording
  • Registering/declaring additional insurances if necessary
  • Supervising family deployments


YOUR WORKPLACE

The global mobility team is currently driven by 9 colleagues. All colleagues have their different role and expertise and together we equally contribute towards a global approach for compliant cross border employment, both in our offices and on our projects.


ABOUT YOU


  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree 
  • Several years of work experience in a similar position, preferably in an international work environment
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Enthusiastic person who thrives in a hectic environment 
  • Proficiency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus
