International Workforce Administration Specialist

Are you analytically strong, detail oriented and energised by complex international payroll challenges? In this role, you ensure that thousands of colleagues worldwide are processed correctly and compliantly within our payroll operations. You work in an international environment where legislation, systems and operations come together. Together with your team, you contribute directly to a smooth payroll process for employees working on leading dredging, offshore and infrastructure projects across the globe.

THE POSITION

As Workforce Administration Specialist, you are responsible for reviewing and processing working hours and employment related data for employees working across our international projects and fleet operations. You work closely together with colleagues within HR, Payroll, Global Mobility, Fiscal Affairs and project teams to ensure all payroll related processes are carried out accurately, on time and in compliance with regulations.

Within this role, there is a strong focus on assessing international tax related matters and employment conditions for employees working abroad. This includes foreign allowances, fiscal assessments and local tax obligations. In addition, you play an important role in processing and validating data across multiple systems such as GRIP, Workday, the pre payroll tool and AFAS. Since these systems communicate through interfaces, system knowledge and understanding of process flows are essential.

YOUR WORKPLACE

You will join an international HR environment where Payroll, Global Mobility and project operations come together. Together with a close knit team of specialists, you support employees working across the globe on complex dredging, offshore and infrastructure projects. YOUR IMPACT

You ensure that thousands of employees worldwide are correctly processed within the Dutch payroll. This includes both staff employees and crew members working on board our vessels. You analyse complex payroll and tax related matters and ensure data is accurately processed across different systems. At the same time, you safeguard data quality and actively contribute to process improvements.

In addition, you:

Align fiscal assessments with Global Mobility, Fiscal Affairs and project controllers
Ensure accurate processing of international assignments and related employment conditions
Work with multiple payroll and HR systems where accuracy and process understanding are essential
Contribute to the further professionalisation of the team and collaboration within the HR domain
Identify bottlenecks at an early stage to help payroll processes become more efficient and effective

ABOUT YOU

You are accurate, analytical and able to maintain overview within complex processes. You easily connect with different stakeholders and feel comfortable working in an international and dynamic environment.

In addition, you:

Have several years of experience in payroll administration and/or knowledge of tax legislation
Have affinity with international payroll challenges and workforce mobility
Have experience with or knowledge of systems such as GRIP, Workday, pre payroll tools and AFAS
Understand how systems and interfaces work together within payroll processes
Work in a structured way and are strong in analysing data and processes
Have strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating with different departments
Have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written
