As an assistant resource manager within QHSE, you play a key role in our QHSE pool management team. Together with the Pool Management team, you ensure that operational QHSE staffing needs are met across a wide range of projects in both business units Dredging & Infra and Offshore Energy.
In this dynamic role, you take the lead in coordinating requests for contingent workers and in building a strong external pool of QHSE specialists at various levels. You work closely with our internal agency as well as with the recruitment department to support the permanent vacancies requests. As part of the pool management team, you make sure the right experts are matched with the right projects. It is import that you are proactive and have a close collaboration with different stakeholders throughout the organization.
Beyond resource planning, you serve as a trusted home base for all QHSE professionals in your (continent workers) pool. You are their go‑to person for everything related to their assignments, performance, engagement and development. You act as a supportive discussion partner, ensuring they feel connected, valued, and set up for success in every project they take on.
You help support the performance and growth of the QHSE colleagues in continent workers' pool. By keeping a good overview of their skills and strengths, you can provide useful input that helps the team make the right staffing decisions. Because you understand how projects work and what they need, you can share clear and reliable recommendations.
In this role, your responsibilities include:

You will be part of the QHSE team in Rotterdam, working in a dynamic and international environment. No two days are the same, you can expect plenty of variety, responsibility, and the space to really make a difference. You will also have the chance to visit project sites, helping you to stay closely connected to the QHSE teams you support. You will work closely with Floris Wijnveldt and Dian Sneevliet. As well as the rest of the pool team.
You don't need years of experience to succeed here. What really matters is your attitude: How you connect with people, how you stay organised and how you handle busy moments and that you are not afraid to ask questions or ask for help.
