YOUR WORKPLACE
The Ship Management Department (SMD) plays a crucial role in assembling the crew for our impressive fleet, from experienced officers to engineers. We ensure the right people are in the right place, both nationally and internationally.
Our team consists of three recruiters, each specializing in a specific pool within the fleet. We work closely with Pool Managers, who oversee the onboarding, progression, and offboarding of crew members. Together, we ensure our vessels are optimally staffed, contributing to Van Oord’s success at sea!
Conducting phone screenings with candidates
Currently pursuing a business-related degree such as Business Administration, Communication, HRM, Logistics & Supply Chain, or Applied Psychology
You will work from our headquarters in Rotterdam, with a stunning view of the Maas River. Start or end your workday in our in-house gym. While remote work is possible, we encourage you to be in the office as much as possible!
