Traineeship Project Operations Offshore

Our traineeship offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in offshore operations through rotations in the Coastal Engineering Infrastructure and Subsea Rock Installation departments. Over 18 months, you’ll gain hands-on experience across diverse and dynamic projects, including both fast-paced and long-term initiatives in various phases.

THE POSITION

This traineeship exposes you to two key departments: Coastal Engineering Installation (CEI) and Subsea Rock Installation (SRI). You’ll contribute to integrating specialized equipment in offshore operations and subsea rock installation, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently. With three six-month rotations, you’ll gain exposure to long-term projects, logistics, contract management, and dynamic international work settings.

ABOUT YOU

Hard Skills: 

  • A degree (HBO/WO) in Maritime Technology, Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of logistics or contract management is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel and work internationally.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

Mijn Traineeship bij Van Oord was een geweldige ervaring. In slechts 18 maanden werkte ik aan baggerprojecten in Abu Dhabi en Trinidad en Tobago, maar ik bracht ook tijd door bij het projectkantoor supportteam op het hoofdkantoor in Rotterdam.
