THE POSITION

The ServiceNow Technical Lead is our trusted technical advisor in our digital transformation journey with ServiceNow. You take technical ownership of our ServiceNow platform, focussing on generic platform health, integrations, CSDM and ITOM. 

In this position you will be part of a the ServiceNow team within the IT department, supporting and implementing multiple ServiceNow products, used within various IT and other departments. Together with the ServiceNow product owner, the business process analyst and our external ServiceNow partner team, you bring and keep the ServiceNow platform operational, healthy, expand it and renew it at the request of the customer.


YOUR IMPACT

  • Establish and maintain the technical oversight of the platform, and provide input for the platform strategy and roadmap;
  • Take ownership of CSDM: define roadmap input, register epics, features and stories on the platform backlog to enhance, improve and expand CSDM implementation and maintenance. Assist and guide product owners in implementing CSDM best practices and strategies;
  • Take ownership of the ITOM module: define roadmap input, register epics, features and stories on the platform backlog to enhance, improve and expand the ITOM functionality; 
  • Work closely together with the ServiceNow architect of our external ServiceNow partner and with the ServiceNow DevOps team;
  • Assess instance health (performance, manageability, usability, scalability, upgradability, and security) by conducting ServiceNow Health Scans together with our external ServiceNow partner, and propose improvements to the backlog.
  • Guide and review ServiceNow platform and solution designs from a technical perspective;
  • Participate in (bi-)annual platform upgrades, together with the ServiceNow product owner, team and external supplier;
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues in Architecture, Security and other technology departments across the organisation. To ensure you have a broad view of all requirements that may impact change delivery and seek for opportunities for our ServiceNow platform!


ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor or Master degree or work level experience;
  • > 5 years of deep knowledge of and experience with the ServiceNow platform;
  • Preferred certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS). Certifications as ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CSA) and/or Certified Master Architect (CMA) is considered a plus but not a must;
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow platform components like CSDM, workflows, integrations, security, service catalogue, and the diverse platform interfaces etc.;
  • Experienced in technical implementations, configurations and maintenance of ITOM;
  • Experienced in remaining the platform healthy and secure;
  • Strong analytical skills to identify problems and recommend solutions that meet business requirements;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal clients, stakeholders, team members and our external partner team;
  • Experienced in working in Agile multi-disciplinary teams in a constantly changing environment;
  • Strong English (CEFR C1/C2) written and verbal communication & presentation skills. Dutch is preferred but is not mandatory.
