Senior Risk Specialist

Your Impact 


You will utilize your experience in the dredging industry to efficiently connect various project disciplines and ensure seamless integration of risk management into project tendering and realization. By proactively engaging with project teams and joint venture partners, you will help develop and maintain a high-quality risk profile. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing and reporting on the outcomes of risk engagements, providing risk management services to multiple concurrent projects (tender and realization phases);
  • Continuously updating and communicating risk exposures (occurrences and trends) on projects;
  • Maintaining project risk data and producing dashboards and forecasts;
  • Reporting critical risk data to multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally;
  • Providing risk input for new events or changes to projects (e.g., design changes).


About you 


With at least 5-10 years of hands-on project experience, Ideally in dredging and/or infrastructure projects, you are now looking to leverage your expertise in risk management. You are passionate about identifying, understanding, and managing risks, and you excel at connecting people across disciplines. Additionally:

  • You have significant experience in the dredging and/or infrastructural industry;
  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in engineering or a related field;
  • You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to manage risk assessments, reports, and forecasts;
  • You have excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written);
  • You are familiar with risk management methodologies
  • You are available full-time (minimum 32 hours per week).
  • The primary work location will be our headquarters in Rotterdam. However, international business travel may also be required.
