Mangrove Ecologist

As a Mangrove Ecologist in the Environmental Engineering team, you will be part of a versatile, dynamic and ambitious team that stands for corporate social responsibility and that makes a difference every single day. Will you become our new Mangrove Ecologist?

  About you

 

  • MSc or PhD degree in ecology or environmental sciences with a strong focus on marine or freshwater systems
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of scientific and/or technical experience working in related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in designing and participating in (large) research and monitoring programs 
  • Experience managing relationships with clients, subcontractors and research organizations 
  • Affiliation with marine dredging and/or offshore wind construction projects in relation to ecological / environmental issues.
  • Ability to write and review complex technical documents, perform high level statistical analyses, manage large GIS and remote sensing data bases and lead field crews in complex logistical settings.
  • Good social and communication skills but also creative and result-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong networking and presentation skills.
