As an Learning and Development (Junior) Advisor you will develop and provide expertise in L&D related topics across Van Oord and especially for the HR organization. You are able to identify our development opportunities and translating them into verifiable plans, supporting the team internal needs and being able to anticipate and respond to these needs, by designing and delivering efficient and effective solutions.
A part of your role as L&D Advisor is contributing to the design and implementation of the L&D Annual Plan, L&D policies and procedures, curricula and tools in order to develop the competences/talent that the organization needs.
Additionally, you will be responsible for various L&D initiatives internally and across the business, with a strong connection to the L&D Strategy. It is a broad role where you are deeply involved in operational aspects while also providing strategic support.

The learning and development team is part of the Integrated Talent Management department within the HR organization. In the role of L&D advisor you will report to our Learning and Development Manager. Part of our Learning and Development team are Internal Trainers, Academy Officers and our Advisors. In total the team exist out of 12 colleagues.
