As an intern within the Fiscal Affairs team, you will have the opportunity to provide administrative support for payroll and income tax filings abroad.
During your internship, you will work closely with the Team Lead Fiscal Affairs. You will be responsible for independently handling administrative tasks related to tax filings abroad. You will make a direct contribution to streamlining processes and ensuring everything runs smoothly. This is your chance to further develop your administrative skills and gain new insights into the tax processes of an internationally operating company.
Your workplace
You will work from our headquarters in Rotterdam with a beautiful view of the Maas River. You can start or end your workday in our in-house gym. Of course, working from home is also an option, but we’d love to see you at the office as much as possible!
We are looking for someone with a precise and detail-oriented work ethic, with the following requirements:
You are currently pursuing an MBO level 4 education or are a 1st/2nd year HBO student with an administrative background.
You are available as soon as possible, but no later than September 2025.
You live in the Rotterdam region.
You are available at least 4 days per week.
You have an eye for detail and work accurately.
You have a good command of both Dutch and English.
In addition to an internship allowance, you will become part of a global community where every day is a new opportunity to explore and learn. By joining our multicultural team, you will have the chance to experience a challenging yet rewarding internship, as we encourage you to learn by doing and discovering. During your internship, you will also have the opportunity to participate in various social activities. Van Oord has a Young Van Oord community and an Intern Community that organize a variety of activities ranging from excursions and (online) lectures, workshops, brainstorming sessions, sports events, to social gatherings.
