• Testing and maintaining all equipment prior to a mobilization;
• Installing and calibrating equipment on location at home and abroad;
• Instructing international survey staff in the use of the equipment;
• Performing preventative maintenance;
• Documenting equipment and installations.
YOUR WORKPLACE
The survey workshop (20 FTE) is responsible for installing, maintaining and managing hydrographical survey equipment (computers, navigation systems, underwater measuring equipment). In the position of Electronics Engineer, you are mainly involved in preparing, testing, installing and maintaining electronic survey equipment. This position is a hybrid role, you will work partly in our workshop and will also travel to locations worldwide in order to install survey equipment.
• A secondary or higher electronics degree;
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in a maritime or survey environment and a strong ability to act independently;
• Strong affinity with IT, knowledge of survey equipment is an advantage;
• Good command of English (written and spoken);
• Focus on service and a flexible attitude to working hours and working abroad for shorter and occasionally longer periods.
