Deck Engineer

Play a key role in maintaining and optimizing high-tech maritime equipment on board a state-of-the-art vessel

YOUR IMPACT

In this role, you ensure the reliability and efficiency of key vessel equipment. You will be actively involved in repairs, modifications, and optimizations while supervising a small team during repair and docking periods. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining the vessel’s technical administration and ensuring a safe working environment on board.

  • Launch and recover the ROV and special tools in coordination with the Pilot.
  • Launch and recover Fallpipe equipment together with the Superintendent and Pilots.
  • Maintain an efficient spare parts stock using the STAR maintenance system.
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of Fallpipe and Tower equipment.
  • Assist with deck crane operations and general maintenance of the Tower area.

  • Experience with maritime equipment maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations (ISM & ISPS).
  • Ability to lead a small team during repair and docking periods.
  • Experience with technical administration systems
