As a 2nd Engineer, you are responsible for the condition and maintenance of the technical installations on board our offshore installation vessels. You work on vessels such as the Nexus, Calypso and Aeolus. You work in a 12 hour rotation and report to the Chief Engineer. Together, you maintain and optimise the technical systems on board. You help keep the vessel safe, reliable and ready for its next offshore operation. Your work starts with strong technical performance, and your impact reaches far beyond the engine room.
As a 2nd Engineer, you prepare, plan and execute specific maintenance projects. You work closely with the Chief Engineer to keep the engine room and technical systems in strong condition. You also guide and support assigned crew members during their work. Your knowledge helps the team solve technical challenges with confidence. You contribute to a positive working atmosphere and the development of the crew. In this role, your work directly supports the safe and reliable execution of offshore projects worldwide.
