Internships at our projects

Working at our projects with a technical background
As a global marine contractor, we always have fascinating projects around the world.
As an intern there is a possibility to work on a project abroad, however we can't guarantee it. This is due to cyclical nature of our work. However, on our projects in The Netherlands there is as much to learn.  We offer on-site internships for MBO and HBO students studying Civil Engineering, Land and Water Management, or Ground, Road, and Hydraulic Engineering. You’ll take on the role of Assistant Superintendent, involved in daily operations. Working on projects offers a unique dynamic, with all disciplines collaborating closely together towards a common goal.
Your project supervisor will work alongside you on-site, and you have regular contact and evaluation sessions to discuss your progress and development. You also have a dedicated contact person at the office, your planner, who informs you about practical matters such as accommodations and flights. Every four weeks, you receive an internship allowance.
Working at our project with a financial background
We do not just offer project roles for technical students; finance students are also welcome. As an intern within our Financial Project Control team you’ll assist in setting up, implementing, and managing the financial and control aspects of the projects, ensuring reliable cash management and good project administration alongside the project team.  These internships can be abroad or in The Netherlands.

During my internship within Subsea Engineering, I had to opportunity to work closely with driven and friendly colleagues. I learned a lot from them. Besides my research I also got to experience the daily activities of the team.
