Workday Integration Specialist

We’re looking for a Workday Integration Specialist with a technical mindset and hands-on approach. In this role, you will focus on expanding and improving the interfaces between Workday and other key applications.

THE POSITION

In this role, you’ll help expand and improve the interfaces between Workday and key applications like Avature, Netive, SABA (LMS), OneView and IFS. 

 

We’re looking for someone with around one year of Workday experience who’s eager to grow, learn and make a technical impact from day one. Experience with integration design, development and maintenance is a strong advantage - you'll be part of shaping solutions.

YOUR IMPACT 

  • Maintain and monitor integrations between Workday and key systems in the Van Oord landscape, including crew planning, asset management, recruitment, temporary workforce, payroll, and ERP platforms
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues through incident and error management, ensuring minimal disruption to HR and business processes
  • Implement configuration changes and support the development of new interfaces, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Ensure data integrity and continuity across systems by adhering to integration best practices, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives

 

YOUR WORKPLACE

The HR Technology team consists of approximately 5-10 colleagues, responsible to manage our digital HR tools and roadmap in terms of maintenance and improvements. Each of them expertise in a wide variety of tools, processes and (Workday) modules. You will report to the HR Technology Manager. The HR Technology team is part of the HR Operations team, where also our HR Services hubs are part of. We’re closely collaborating with our HR in Business advisory team and Centers of Expertise.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor Degree in HR, Business, IT/IS, MIS, or a related field strongly preferred or applicable experience also considered
  • 1+ years Workday experience with proficiency in multiple Workday products 
  • Capable of connecting the dots between processes and systems.
  • Must be able to maintain high levels of confidentiality and understand and maintain HR data security
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
