Treasury Analyst

Within our Treasury and Investments Department resides the Treasury Operations (TO) team. The primary goal for this team is to provide liquidity at all times where and when needed within Van Oord, execute all internal and external risk management transactions and provide management information on all these aspects. The team is located at our Head Office in Rotterdam. 

YOUR IMPACT

As a Treasury Analyst, you are the key user of the treasury management system (ITS), the electronic banking systems and other related software and therefore the first point of contact for all its users. You manage the operating level of our systems and are ready to answer questions and solve issues. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of static data in the treasury systems;
  • Support to business on bank account opening and compliance requests;
  • Operational treasury tasks (reporting, compliance, support)
  • Analyse and solve ad-hoc issues;
  • Contribute to management report preparation;
  • Support and advise with business finance colleagues;
  • Maintaining the documentation in place and ensure the compliance with existing legislation (MIFID2, ISDA, KYC, etc.) 


ABOUT YOU

You are a strong communicator, pro-active, analytical person with a love for treasury operations and its systems. You speak up when necessary and offer help and advice where relevant. Experience with Treasury Front Office (money market and derivatives), Middle Office (payment transactions and accounting) and Back Office (documentation and systems) is appreciated. 


Furthermore, you have

  • A Bachelor or Masters degree in Business and/or Finance;
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience;
  • Basic knowledge of ITS or related treasury management systems and electronic banking systems
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing;
  • Hands-on mentality;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Accurate;
  • Personal integrity;
