YOUR IMPACT
The Technical Superintendent is the first point of contact for the part of the fleet assigned to him/her. You work both independently and in a team to keep the fleet up to date. You work together with colleagues in the Technical Service and on the fleet and report to the fleet manager.
- Preparing and supervising inspections and checks;
- Troubleshooting malfunctions;
- Resolving incidents and damages to the equipment;
- Preparing work, contracting subcontractors, and ordering materials;
- Providing technical advice regarding investment and improvement proposals and advising (project) management and users on the measures to be taken, nature, and frequency of maintenance.
YOUR WORKPLACE
You manage the fleet of Paans Van Oord and Van Oord Grondstoffen, specialist subsidiaries of Van Oord. You work together with your TD colleagues from a yard location and/or from the office in Rotterdam.
