Storekeeper Projects / Materials Coordinator

In the role of Storekeeper Projects / Materials Coordinator, you will support the projects in the preparation and execution phase. This concerns the preparation of mobilizations and the set-up storage structures on projects according the V.O. guidelines and systems.

THE POSITION 

In the role of Storekeeper Projects / Materials Coordinator, you will support the projects in the preparation and execution phase. This concerns the preparation of mobilizations and the set-up storage structures on projects according the V.O. guidelines and systems.

YOUR IMPACT  

You will maintain the inventory on the project and support the eventual demobilization to our yards or potential other projects. In this position you are central point of contact within the supply chain for the project, project purchasers & logistic colleagues.


  • Maintain the project store on the Company yard(s) incl.;
    • Receipt and verification of incoming materials against PO’s/internal deliveries
    • Execution of periodical stock check through for instance Cycle Counts/Wall to Wall counts;
    • Provide project team (on/offshore) with required information related to tracking and tracing of material and equipment;
    • The safe and efficient management of the stores / warehouse on site in line with QHSE policy;
    • Perform a material reconciliation upon completion of a project, ensure disposal and/or return of surplus materials;
    • Preparation of shipping manifests / packing lists for de-mobilised materials and equipment.
  • Manage inventory of Client supplied materials and rental equipment;
  • Manage the preparation (mock-up) and consolidation for projects on the Van Oord yards;
  • Keep track of customs scope including permanent vs. temporary imported items;
  • Train non STAR IPS users in creating requisitions and materials;


ABOUT YOU 

  • A completed intermediate vocational (MBO) education in the disciplines of logistics or supply chain;
  • Ability to work on rotation in an international project environment (rotation schedule 24/18 or 38/32 - days);
  • Relevant work experience in a similar role including knowledge of shipping terms and transport documents;
  • Experience with Microsoft software (Excel/Word/Teams/Outlook) ;
  • Good command of written and spoken Dutch and English;
  • Familiarity with logistics-related matters such as trade and customs compliance, hazardous goods and Inco terms.
