In this dynamic position, you’ll immerse yourself in a complex, project-driven environment, collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders—from Project Management and Pool Management to our dedicated Project Staff deployed across the globe. You'll be at the heart of our operations, overseeing the setup, management, and monitoring of staff planning. Your keen eye for detail will help you identify potential scheduling conflicts early, ensuring smooth communication about staffing needs and project vacancies among various teams.

Your service-oriented approach will shine as you streamline the deployment of Project Staff from start to finish. You'll expertly organize travel arrangements and leverage Van Oord's systems to maintain precise records and communication. As the primary point of contact for our Project Staff, you'll provide essential information about planning, schedules, and travel logistics, all while ensuring their seamless deployment to project sites and our installation vessels around the world.

Additionally, you will:

  • Coordination of the adequate personnel needs with the Project Manager;
  • Communication and collaboration regarding personnel needs and project specific requirements with the various Van Oord departments and Pool Managers;
  • Setting up, managing and monitoring the most efficient and optimal Project Staff planning;
  • Timely identification and signalling of possible planning conflicts and able to think along in possible solutions;
  • Accurate administrative processing in and use of the Van Oord systems.

ABOUT YOU

You are a person that loves making things happen and a real puzzle king or queen. Next to that you have excellent communication skills, a great analytical mind and always ready to provide your colleagues with your services.

Other requirements; 

  • Demonstrable higher vocational intellectual and professional level;
  • Preferably more than two years of work experience in a similar position and in a project-based environment;
  • Preferably with experience or an education in HR;
  • Excellent communication skills in the English language in word and writing;
  • An independent, stress-resistant and hands-on personality who can make decisions and works well in a vibrant team environment.
