As a Project Purchaser, you will be responsible for the operational procurement of mainly technical goods / consumable and fulfilment of orders for our global projects. You will work closely with different colleagues of the Procurement and Supply Chain department (procurement officers, logistic colleagues, coordinators) and the project team. In this role you will report to the Supervisor Supply Chain Project Support. You will work at our headquarters in Rotterdam.
As a Project Purchaser you are procuring a big variety of materials, required by the projects in preparation and execution phase. You deal with quotation requests, offers, and purchase orders efficiently and on time. On daily basis you will follow up on order confirmations for all orders placed and the agreed delivery dates.

You work together with several stakeholders such as project team, procurement officers, material coordinators and logistic colleagues. The overall collaboration is good. We are looking for a stress-resistant person who wants to act as initiator and point of contact for operational projects. Within the Purchasing Department, you proactively take up proposals for improvement of the organisation, processes and methods. To be successful in this role you need to have a service-oriented mentality and you have to take ownership. Besides this you are persuasive and result oriented.
