Netwerk Engineer

Unleash your potential as a Network Engineer in our Connectivity team! Design and maintain the connectivity and communication infrastructure. Your "getting things done" mentality and sense of responsibility make the difference. Apply now!

THE POSITION

In our Connectivity team, driven professional specialists support the ships and offices with a strong focus on developing, improving, mobilising, and maintaining standardised IT solutions within a rapidly evolving modern infrastructure landscape. Every day brings new technical challenges and projects that push our boundaries, which is ingrained in our culture. We are looking for Network Engineers who specialise in the connectivity/communication infrastructure within the organisation. Your engineer's DNA includes a "getting things done" mentality, you take responsibility for your domain, and you have the perseverance to develop, maintain, and improve. "Secure-by-design" and automating repetitive manual tasks are second nature to you. If this describes you as an engineer, we would love to talk to you.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, installing, maintaining, monitoring, and improving infrastructure solutions to ensure business continuity and optimal performance, with a focus on securing the infrastructure environment. You will collaborate with the Cloud team, other IT disciplines, and the business to prevent disruptions within the connectivity and communication infrastructure. You will independently identify and resolve problems within the infrastructure domain. You will apply your knowledge in selecting methods and techniques for solutions within standards, procedures, and general applications aligned with the overarching IT architecture. You will be the third-line escalation point and fulfil a broad technical support and advisory role for your colleagues from other IT disciplines and the business by acting as a technical source of knowledge and information. You will develop improvement, innovation, and implementation proposals for existing and new standards and solutions in collaboration with the team and stakeholders.
