Junior Surveyor Spain

You are the eyes and ears on the projects and you collect and present Survey data by using different Survey techniques on the projects for the entire organisation.

THE POSITION

You contribute to safe and (cost) efficient project execution. Collect, organize and store survey data, reporting reliable and valid data and communicate possible deviations to the project organization. Perform measurements and surveys to support and optimize processes in project execution, in line with contractual agreements and survey quality and safety standards.


YOUR IMPACT

As Hydrographic Surveyor you are the eyes and ears of our projects. You perform surveys using  various survey techniques and equipment for projects and the entire organization. 

  • Works under the guidance of more experienced colleagues on clearly defined assignments and provides operational support to team members;
  • Contributes to the implementation of standard solutions with limited complexity during the execution phase of projects;
  • Performs standardized data analysis and develops models or reports;
  • Is alert to the occurrence of errors and problems. Identifies and reports bottlenecks in engineering methods, tools, systems and work processes and indicates opportunities for improvement;
  • Has regular contact with internal stakeholders outside own discipline to exchange information.

You are part of Dravo's Survey Department, operating in smaller or bigger teams all over the world supporting our dredging projects. You challenge stakeholders in their decision making and ensure safe and (cost) efficient project execution.


ABOUT YOU

Your primary focus is on using your technical expertise to provide others with the information they need. For that you need the following experience:


  • Bachelor or Master degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Hydrography, Marine Sciences, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent command of the English and Spanish language;
  • Works in a rotating schedule;
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
