HR Service Officer

THE POSITION

As an “HR Services Officer” in our Shared Services Team you will be part of the HR team based in our Dubai office in JAFZA and deliver HR services to all our colleagues in the Middle East and Asia. We support our projects and offices with all HR operational related activities. We arrange everything on an administrative/system level as well as answer all kinds of questions to ensure our employees have an  unforgettable employee experience. YOUR IMPACT

In summary, your responsibilities include:

  • Perform full employee life-cycle administrative and systems services. 
  • Calculating and processing employee wages, including salaries, hourly pay, overtime, bonuses, and deductions. 
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including employee information, timesheets, and payment details.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure accuracy of payroll information.
  • Support in the implementation of new HRIS system and payroll systems.
  • Own various tasks or projects and be first point of contact for several countries in our region.   
  • Always be on the look-out for process improvement opportunities. 


YOUR WORKPLACE

As a member of our team, you will work closely with our local HR team of 6 colleagues and together we service around  600 (250 locals and 350+ expats) colleagues in our region. As we are a relatively small team, we are looking for a communicative team player with a proactive attitude. We embrace your input to improve our way of working. You will report directly to the Team lead HR Services in Dubai.

Together with the team, you will focus on delivering the best in class support to our colleagues. We support employees and managers with HR related questions, ensure personnel documents are accurate and complete, process data in our HR information system, maintain files and records and prepare periodic standardized reports. However, as we work with people, every day is different, and that's exactly what keeps you motivated!

In this versatile role, you are independent and have no trouble maintaining focus in a hectic environment. Administration has no secrets for you, and you know better than anyone how to handle all your tasks smoothly and competently.

ABOUT YOU

  • Must have completed Bachelor’s and/or University degree or equivalent experience 
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience as HR administrator with payroll processing. etc. 
  • HR Administrator and payroll experience in UAE is must, internationally is an added advantage, 
  • Good command of the English language in both speaking and writing. Having a critical substantive view combined with a good dose of problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communicative skills.
  • Reliable team player but can also work independently. 
  • Structured and detail oriented. 
  • Hands on, proactive, solution oriented and service minded. 
  • Continuous improvement mindset.

Added advantage of having following experience

  • Experience with working with an HRIS such as Workday. 
  • Experience with Yellow Belt process improvement.
