Van Oord’s Debt & Equity team within the Treasury and Investments Department is Van Oord’s inhouse Debt and Equity advisory & investment team. The team is responsible for Debt and Equity investments in greenfield projects to support commercial business development for Van Oord’s marine construction projects. Managing divestments processes (M&A) of our stakes are an important component of the responsibilities with the aim to recycle money for new investments. Next to that, the team is advising Van Oord’s Board and senior management on complex debt, JV’s and business cases.
In the wider Treasury and Investments team, a wide range of financial advisory and operational services is offered such as hedging, guarantees, credit insurance and cash management. High value services provided by Treasury help Van Oord to remain an innovative leader in highly competitive international marine markets. Treasury now seeks a Debt & Equity Manager to join its team of financial advisory experts in Rotterdam.
As Debt and Equity Manager you develop, jointly with your business unit colleagues, marine construction projects by investing both proprietary as well as third party Debt and Equity. Next to that you manage important financial & legal advisor and financial partner relationships, as well as internal relationships (Board, Business Unit colleagues and departments such as legal & compliance, tax, reporting etc). You manage a team of 3 highly skilled professionals and report to the Director Treasury and Investments, while also functioning as his/her backup.
