The position


 As Barge Foreman, you play a key role in the operational execution of our offshore projects. You are responsible for the successful completion of your project scope, from preparation and planning to execution and evaluation. Working closely with the Offshore Construction Manager and the project team, you lead your crew and ensure operations run safely, efficiently and in full compliance with safety and quality standards.

You’ll manage deck activities, coordinate marine operations, monitor progress and take proactive action to overcome technical or operational challenges. With a sharp eye for safety, planning and communication, you ensure that every operation on board contributes to the overall success of the project.

 You are the link between planning and performance. Through your leadership and technical insight, you turn plans into action and challenges into achievements. You motivate and guide your team to perform safely and efficiently, keeping operations aligned with project objectives. By anticipating risks, optimising resources and maintaining clear communication, you directly contribute to the safe and successful delivery of our offshore projects — helping shape a more resilient and sustainable energy future.

YOUR WORKPLACE

Your workplace is dynamic, international and truly unique: offshore on board one of our advanced vessels or barges. You’ll work in close cooperation with engineers, technicians and crew from around the world. Every project is different, whether installing offshore wind components, laying cables or performing marine construction. Job requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of shallow water pipelay
  • Experience with S-Lay method
  • Knowledge how te prepare lift plans
  • Knowledge how to prepare JSA’s, permits and toolbox talks
  • Open to work on a rotation schedule
